At first, I didn't know what all the fuss was about - it seemed to be a
detective movie which happened to have someone named Hannible Lecter in
it. So what? But there is a real sense of wanting to catch the criminal,
not just because it's her job, but to shut Lecter up. He's a smug
know-it-all who happens to be right about every thing, and he's
completely terrifying.
It's a moving film, meaning it barely stops or slows, but never leaves
you exhausted. The pain of the girl in the well is captivating and it
all comes together excellently.
