As far as the film's potential goes, and other films like it, it seems
that this one really achieves the pinnacle of what you can do with the
rather simple story. The acting, if it could be called that, is pretty
sharp and doesn't rely completely on "oh, look who it is" rather we get
characters given to us that you would recognise on their own terms.
Perhaps the most interesting portion of the film is at the end, when we
finally see the band play - we see girls standing, shaking, bopping, all
manner of nonsense for these simple pop songs.
