The Jerk is an oddity in my mind. It's neither a good movie, or a bad
one. It has no features or qualities which make it stick out more than
any other film I've seen, nor does it scream to be forgotten - as most
of the films I've seen often do.
It's a bit of a slice of life. A hopeless nobody foists himself upon the
big bad wide world, with varying results. It's his complete
obliviousness to every single thing around him which makes the film
enjoyable.
The one line which shines in my mind: "Stay away from the cans!"
