Quite simply, I don't see what the big deal about Scarface is. I can't
see why people think it's so good. Personally I found it to be
exceptionally long winded, with many scenes being of little or no use to
the story. Those scenes happened to be overly long, as well.
I found the experience of watching Scarface to be one of sheer will and
determination on my part, in order to just watch it through.
The character alienated everyone who cared about him by the end and he
hated everything he had. Not an enviable role model, in my mind.
