Is this the most well known comedy film of all time? It's at least the
most looked-up-to. Unfortunately, for every good, solid laugh, there's
an uncomfortable scene. Think of the three headed man, or the killer
rabbit. Laugh, and then think of the "bring out your dead" scene or the
old lady who has "ni" said to her.
All in all, it's quite a funny movie, I won't deny anyone the ability to
say that about it. But, it does work better as a series of remembered
scenes, when you've seen it and filtered out all the buffer material.
