I don't really care that this was filmed on the same sets as the
original Frankenstein movie. It doesn't interest me that it contains
some of the same props. The number of homages make me yawn. In fact, now
that I think about it, the whole thing makes me yawn.
The number of jokes which land smack-bang in the middle of a few minutes
of silence are uncountable. The tension is raised and the atmosphere is
set, but the jokes are embarrassingly out of place.
The uncomfortable factor does not come because its scary, but from it not being funny.
